Skilled Training

Ongoing training is a very important part of the NAMI culture. We offer an annual in-house training program to all of our employees, covering a variety of areas including re-certifications, trade skills, pre-fabrication techniques and life skills.

NAMI offers its employees an approved apprenticeship program. We currently have 24 indentured apprentices in various levels of training.

• We are an approved Wisconsin Trade Trainer, as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development.
• We are an approved Training Contractor, as determined by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC).
• Our Apprenticeship Program is in compliance with the State of Wisconsin Executive Order #108.

Safety Training

Completing new employee orientation program that includes extensive safety training is mandatory for NAMI employees who work in the field or in our prefabrication facilities. Every NAMI employee who enters our ABC Apprenticeship Program completes the following safety training by the end of their first year:

• First Aid Training and Certification
• CPR Training and Certification
• OSHA 10 Hour Training

We utilize a comprehensive Health & Safety Manual to guide our health and safety practices. This manual was adopted from Comfort Systems USA in 2003 and is regularly updated.
